Before I even arrive to your session, I get to know you and your family through your questionnaire and a pre-session planning consult call. This helps ensure I can accurately capture the heart of your home and the vision you have for your session!

Upon arriving, I take the time to connect with each family member. This helps make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable before I even pick up my camera. Then I’ll guide your family to get started on the first activity we discussed and guide you the rest of the way from there. This day is all about doing the things you love with the people you love the most!

This is a big one! As a mom to three little boys I know how it feels during a session to feel like I need to get my kids to behave a certain way or keep their clothes clean. But it’s SO important to simply focus on play and connection. We will get one smiling, semi-posed photo of your family during the session, but this comes when I feel all the kids are happy and relaxed and the time is right.

I promise I am used to kids being kids and I welcome all the energy and play!

My approach is child-led. The best moments captured happen when they feel free to play and explore. So take a deep breathe and enjoy slowing down, letting your kids be kids, and being present! I’ll take care of the rest.

I take on only one-two clients per month so that I can offer a quick turn-around time for you while still delivering the highest quality product. Depending on the package you chose, you will have all of your photos and video within 1-4 weeks (4 weeks for the 4 hour package option only. The other options are delivered within 1-2 weeks).
